Starmaker School offers full-time childcare and early childhood education programs for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 9 years. With a comprehensive and impactful curriculum, we ensure that every child receives a positive educational experience. Our goal is to give children a strong foundation upon which they build a lifetime love of learning.

California, Maryland

The community of California, Maryland has a population of nearly 12,000 people in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. It was founded in 1897 and named after the state of California.

Located approximately 60 miles southeast of Washington, D.C., California, Maryland is close to big city entertainment and natural beauty. Just a few miles away from our campus lies the Patuxent River and several large parks, making our community a great place for outdoor enthusiasts.

History buffs will enjoy Historic St. Mary’s City, a wonderful museum that shows visitors what life was like in this area during the 1600s. Exhibits include churches and domiciles from that era from European settlers and indigenous tribes.

For modern enjoyment, visit Solomon’s Island, which is home to a wide array of excellent restaurants and outdoor activities on the water.

With the nation’s capital only an hour away, families in California, Maryland, have access to one of the world’s most cultural cities. Visitors to D.C. can enjoy world-class museums, architecture, and restaurants. Starmaker School in California, Maryland

Along with the surrounding activities in California, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.,Starmaker School offers a variety of programs for children up to the age of 9.  During the school year, Starmaker School offers a dynamic and experiential learning environment designed specifically to foster critical thinking skills. School-time programs are offered for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary students up to age 9.

Directions to Starmaker School from Ronald Reagan National Airport:

From Ronald Reagan National Airport, take George Washington Memorial Parkway to S Patrick St in Alexandria or 3.7 miles. Next, take I-495 N/I-95 N and MD-210 S to MD-228 E/Berry Rd in Accokeek for 14 miles. Use the left 3 lanes to turn left onto MD-228 E/Berry Rd in 6.8 miles. After, continue on Leonardtown Road and take MD-235 S to Airport Rd in Hollywood for 32.3 miles. Next, continue on Airport Rd. Drive to Cottonwood Pkwy for 0.6 miles and you will arrive at the campus, which is located at 23443 Cottonwood Parkway in California, Maryland.
